On Saturday, January 31, 2026, our salon is being transformed. It won’t just be a grooming space. It will become the catwalk of your dreams, hosting a fashion show in Corfu that will be discussed. And the best part? It’s an open invitation to brides who want to be inspired for the most important day of their lives.

A Distinction That Filled Us with Pride
Before I tell you about the party (because it is a party!), let me give you a little flashback. 2025 was a milestone year for us. When my team and I decided to participate in the Estetica Hair Awards, the largest and most demanding hairdressing competition in Greece, we had a vision: to show that Corfu doesn’t just follow trends, but creates them.
The category we chose was “Bridal Look of the Year”. The competition was tough, with entries from the greatest hair stylists in Greece and Cyprus. The stress was great, but our passion was even greater.
And we did it! Scissors by Effi was honored with the Bronze Award. This award belongs not only to me, Effi Loukanari, but to the entire team who worked hard and of course to our mentor, Hair Coach & Art Director Markos Efthymiou, who guided us.
This award is proof that the hair salon in Corfu can stand alongside the great salons of Athens. And now, we want to celebrate this joy with you.
The Event: An Evening Dedicated to the Bride
So what exactly will happen on January 31st? Imagine our venue at the 4th km of the Corfu-Peleka National Road changing its appearance. The lights dim, the music gets louder and the magic begins at 18:00.
Our goal is to bring you the trends that will dominate in 2026. You will see the award-winning bridal hairstyles live, as well as suggestions for every woman who wants to stand out: from the mother of the bride and bridesmaids, to sisters and guests at galas or parties.

Sweets could not be missing from the evening. Dolce from Lakones, with the Ziniatis family at the helm since 1979, will take care of the catering. Get ready for gastronomic surprises!

The audiovisual coverage has been undertaken by Epta Tekhnon Topos, ensuring that the sound and lights will be impeccable. The music will be provided by Elegant DJ’s, while Evymnos Private operatic and classical concerts will accompany part of the presentation with piano accompaniment, while it can offer private concert options, with string ensembles, opera singers, saxophone, ideal for wedding receptions and evenings in villas.
The Detail That Makes the Difference
The models’ nails will be treated by Nail’s Boutique, known for its excellent service and spa environment in Corfu Town. The floral decorations that will frame the catwalk have been taken care of by Rizos Garden, with their experience in impressive bridal bouquets and arches. And of course, all the moments will be captured by the lens of award-winning photographer Thanasis Rapsomanikis, who knows how to “steal” the emotion in every click.
